yes, I’m finally updating, after constant reminders from HeeIan and Shu.
So continuing from January, I had an awesome Chinese New Year, especially back in Kampung where 30 of us gathered in one house. It was really great seeing my cousins in teluk intan and those who flew in from UK, Macau…etc…

And then I finally got a UCAS offer from Imperial. And it’s conditional! I was like ???!… and apparently my ielts wasn’t good enough. Because I only got 6 for writing and they wanted at least 7 for each category. So I took my ielts just pass this Saturday after Shu’s coaching for a week and checking over my essays even after she flew to Australia. Thank you a lot and I owe you very very muchie!
So, Shu is in Brisbane now, Chris is in Perth, and baby Eva in Adelaide with Mann. All these aussie people! lolx… I didn’t manage to join eva’s farewell cause I was still in kampung then. But we did had a farewell for Chris, and had dinner in Kim’s Gary. And Choey Ling came back too during that time! Still look the same (which means she’s still uber thin) but it was great seeing her. Then on Thur we went to see him off at… (what’s the name again?)…. anyway, the airasia airport. Sitting behind was a super bumpy ride, but it was intresting and we got to see EuJin huge house. The kota kemuning area anyway. And Chris, hope he get well soon and have a great time in Aus.
Then we had another great farewell for Shu. On Sunday we had like this big gathering, inviting pm9 peeps, QM/Librarian peeps, and Gamma Gang. Watched bride wars, sang karaoke and then they head off to Shu’s house for dinner. Too bad I had Chap Goh Meh at home, but I’m grateful because Sharon actually thought of me and wanted to send pizza to my house! Lolx, it was really funny…
To my Dear Shu, I’m sorry I didn’t manage to send you off… T_T but I’ll very certainly miss you and all the fun times we had! I even called you six in the morning to wish you luck and I hope you’ve gotten over the flight nightmare. Keep much much more in contact like the afternoon chat we had, and don’t worry about fitting into your course. Most importantly, be positive and remember to have fun! I’m sure you’ll do great. And go see the Doctor like asap!
So for now, I hope, hope, hope I can get all above 7 for my ielts because I don’t want to resit again. *crosses fingers* and hope for the best when results comes out in March. AND, I know many of you are starting term, so have a great time in your lessons, classes, lectures, projects and everything else!
